Overview

 

Enhancing music in Africa came into existence in 2011 as a separate leg of the Choir Academy

 

(See diagram on home page for the various sections of EMA).

 

 

 

 

Two types of presentations started in 2011

 

·         Music Lovers’ Network: For the music lover who would enjoy getting together with other music lovers and discuss & listen to music.

·         Music for Senior Citizens.  This section is meant for any Senior Citizen who would be interested to enjoy music in an informal style with co Senior Citizens.

 

In 2012 the above mentioned presentations will be further developed and presented,

and the following new presentations will commence:

 

·         Music for Developing Communities.  Through these presentations EMA would like to reach out to developing communities.

·         Inspiring women through music: Through music and applicable discussions, womens’ lives can be positively influenced.

·         Music & creativity. This section is intended for all age groups, to be presented in groups or individually. These sessions in creativity can stimulate the creative talent of young and old.

·         Music and the other arts.  Forming part of these presentations, the other arts eg poetry, painting etc will be presented in an integrated form (eg music and poetry, music & painting). This section will commence in July 2012

·         Choral conductors’ courses & publications: See website of CASA. By means of the above mentioned presentations, EMA hopes to make life interesting & enjoyable

for any person attending these presentations.
